There are a lot of thing you need to consider when you want to take up nursing, first of it is your "self", its not money. There are a lot of challenges and unexpected situations you will face in your study. Challenges that will try your faith and situations that will measure your self. Sometimes you will come up to a point where you feel like your hang up in a middle of somewhere where you want to quit but when you look back on what you have invested you'll regret if you'll quit. Sometimes you will encounter a lot of pressures in school where you need to meet those deadlines, you need to do some projects, research works presentations and a lot more, but I'm not saying all of them in one time because if that will be the case, i don't know how to survive in nursing and i can't imagine how horrible it is.
But there are also times where you will feel your very proud of your self, you'll feel very light inside .Its very nice to feel when your patient thank you for the care you gave, when you were appreciated because you've done great or by just knowing that in the future you will be able to help a lot of people, that you can relieve others pain and be able to give them comfort. I know its not easy to love this profession specially when it is not your dream to be and because you choose to study you take your parents condition and take it up.
Maybe when you realized that you have a noble profession, a profession where fulfillment is the best return of what you do, you'll decide to live it for the rest of your life. Like what they say "what matters most are not what you've achieve but what you've done, not what you are but your significance and not what you have but who have you".
